One of the chief principles of Babe Ruth programs is protected league boundaries. Leagues
may not recruit or accept players from outside their defined area. This hard and fast rule is in keeping with Babe Ruth's
focus on community based programs, and at the same time, eliminates the very unwholesome practices of hard-sell recruiting
and player poaching. Each league submits their boundary statements, and after approval by the State Commssioner, they are
filed at Babe Ruth Headquarters in Trenton, NJ. The last time League Boundaries were certified was in 1999. Since that
time, the New Hampshire Babe Ruth Softball program has more than doubled in size. Many leagues were encouraged to expanded
their boundaries to include communities that were not otherwise organized. In addition, several leagues have merged to
achieve better economies of scale. Therefore, in an effort to get our collective arms around this issue, this page
has been created so that any league at any time may check their own as well as neighboring boundary statements.
At the moment, this is a work in progress. Listed leagues showing
(Under Review) indicates that updated information for that league has yet to be received and confirmed.
